* Lokta paper est un papier fabriqué de façon traditionnelle et ancestrale au NEPAL pour les guirlandes de Lamali.

Production: from bark of a shrub called "Daphne". This bark, crushed and mixed with water, forms a paper pulp. The leaves are stretched on large wooden frames and then placed in the air-dried.

This paper was traditionally used by the Buddhist monks for their religious writings. Today, the method of manufacture has remained unchanged. The paper is now tinted to offer more patterns and choice.
