Here is a perfect example of Upcycling, made in Kabambî! For several years, we have been making hangers from metal cans from Burkina Faso. We buy the cuts, made by the workshop in Burkina, which cuts the cans and manually hammers the plates obtained to make cuts, which Martin drills and electrically equips.
Models unique
The metal cans that we use for the creation of our lights (suspensions and recently, wall lights) are unique pieces that we buy in Burkina Faso. These cans are salvaged and worked by local craftsmen. The colours are original and have been weathered over time. Martin then drills them and assembles them into a lamp using high quality, modular Italian electrical equipment. The result? Unique and original workshop-style lamps!
Also to be discovered at Kabambî, the works of Stéphanie Ledoux
Kabambi can only be charmed by the drawings of Stéphanie LedouxShe is a travelling artist. Her portraits drawn in the four corners of the world are a mode of communication that frees itself from the language barrier. Mixing travel, emotion and human relationships, Stephanie's drawings come to life in her studio after her travels, from her field notebooks.
Kabambî offers you a selection of certified reproductions of Stéphanie Ledoux's works in the form of posters and postcards, available in the shop and on the e-shop.
